This week I got to drive an actual car around my home track World Wide Technologies Raceway in a Porsche GT3. It was a lot of fun with Xtreme Xperience and there were other choices, Huracan, GTR, the 488. There were a lot of other people there to drive the Lamborghini Huracan but the line for the Porsche was very short and I went in knowing it would be the best handling car for a track. Even though I’m pretty sure I know what I’m doing behind the wheel it was mandatory that an instructor rides along with me and I’d like to think that was the fastest he went around the track while sitting in the passenger seat that day. I remember being told to give the Huracan ahead plenty of space and after leaving the pits after them I ended up right behind them after the next two corners. Overall for six laps it was a blast and I couldn’t believe how a street car could perform so well on a track after pressing a button and changing it into track mode.
