This weekend we were at Cadwell Park. A track that is narrow and you'll find yourself going downhill then back uphill before you know it. It will probably be my favorite track to ever drive on and it's not due to the great memories I had here. In qualifying we were P2 and got an excellent start to take the lead for a few laps then shortly lost it before regaining it a few laps later and went on to win the race! A win in my rookie season after a few races we are really building momentum!
For race 2 it was my first time ever starting on the pole. I got a decent start but the pole sitter from race 1 got a great jump and I spent the entirety of race 2 in second position. The weekend was great and I can't thank Andy Low's mom enough for the great food that she makes for us every race weekend. Hopefully we can go onto the next race at Brands Hatch and get another podium.
